Our main activity
The main goal of our association is to initiate various collaborations between Hungarian and Chinese educational and research institutions.
Our activities include student and faculty mobility, as well as organizing summer/winter schools and camps.
Our primary activity is to promote the Chinese government-supported '3+1' program, in which a Hungarian and a Chinese higher education institution jointly launch a program. Under this program, Chinese students begin their studies in China and complete them in Hungary.
During the program, Hungarian instructors have the opportunity to teach in China, and Chinese students and instructors can come to Hungary for a summer university.
Furthermore, we also aim to facilitate research collaborations among our cooperative partners.

The Hungarian-Chinese Education and Mobility Association is established with the aim of fostering cooperation between Hungarian and Chinese educational institutions. In an increasingly internationalized environment, it is important for stakeholders in the education system to establish appropriate connections between different institutions. Therefore, the association's main goal is to identify and connect suitable Hungarian and Chinese educational partner institutions, supporting their long-term and successful collaboration.
The association's task is to provide opportunities for students and educators to engage in mobility between the two countries, both in the fields of study and research. The association facilitates partnerships between institutions where Chinese students or educators can participate in educational programs at Hungarian institutions, and vice versa, enabling Hungarian students and educators to study or work in Chinese institutions. Beyond various educational and research opportunities, the association considers it particularly important to assist the integration of incoming students and educators into both institutional and local cultures. Therefore, it provides support for organizing travel and accommodation for incoming individuals, as well as facilitates participation in various cultural programs.
Short history
We began our activities in the summer of 2017. Initially, we started our collaboration with Eszterházy Károly Catholic University. After a lengthy period of groundwork, we successfully launched Hungary's first '3+1' program supported by the Chinese government. During this time, we gained numerous experiences and connections. A key partner for us became the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE), through whom we were able to expand our activities. It was at their suggestion that we established this association.
By now, we have established connections and contracts with numerous Hungarian and Chinese higher education institutions (see Partners). Every year, we assist Hungarian universities in participating in the Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET) kiállításokon..
Over the past few years, we have successfully launched several '3+1' programs, organized summer universities for university and high school students, and facilitated instructor mobility.
